Alejandra Diez de Rivera es una artista española basada entre Londres y Madrid cuya práctica explora la memoria, la psicología y el paso del tiempo a través de la fotografía. Emplea técnicas que abarcan desde el uso de cámara de gran formato y la pintura con luz hasta procesos de fotografía sin cámara y técnicas de embossing, construyendo imágenes a partir de objetos y espacios cargados de ambigüedad psicológica.

Su trabajo se centra en la dimensión emocional e histórica de lo inanimado —interiores vacíos, prendas antiguas o archivos olvidados—, transformándolos en escenarios introspectivos que invitan a la autoexploración. Ha sido publicado en medios como Vanity Fair, FT Magazine, Vogue, Der Greif y Le Point, y expuesto internacionalmente. Su obra forma parte de colecciones en Europa, China, Estados Unidos y Emiratos Árabes Unidos.

Ha sido seleccionada en muestras como Small is Beautiful (Flowers Gallery, 2023), Photo Open (RWA Bristol, 2023), London Grads Now (Saatchi Gallery) y After the High Tide (Cromwell Place). Posee formación en Central Saint Martins y el Royal College of Art.

Alejandra Diez de Rivera is a Spanish artist based between London and Madrid whose practice explores memory, psychology, and the passage of time through photography. She works with techniques ranging from large-format film and light painting to cameraless photography and embossing, creating images drawn from psychologically ambiguous objects and spaces.

Her work focuses on the emotional and historical weight of inanimate subjects—empty interiors, antique garments, and forgotten artefacts—transforming them into introspective environments that invite self-examination. She has been published in Vanity Fair, FT Magazine, Vogue, Der Greif, and Le Point, and exhibited internationally. Her work is held in collections across Europe, China, the United States, and the UAE.

She has been selected for exhibitions including Small is Beautiful (Flowers Gallery, 2023), Photo Open (RWA Bristol, 2023), London Grads Now (Saatchi Gallery), and After the High Tide (Cromwell Place). She holds qualifications from Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art.
