Daphne Carlos es artista visual, fotógrafa y gestora cultural peruana. Fundadora y directora de Fuera de Foco, escuela dedicada a la formación y experimentación visual, su práctica explora el cuerpo como territorio de memoria, huella e identidad mediante fotografía, videoarte y performance. Ha participado en exposiciones y encuentros artísticos en Perú, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay y España. Su trabajo desarrolla investigaciones sobre cuerpo, transformación física y territorio desde una perspectiva autobiográfica y sensorial. En 2025 recibió la beca para cursar el Máster PHotoESPAÑA 2025–2026.
Daphne Carlos is a Peruvian visual artist, photographer, and cultural manager. She is the founder and director of Fuera de Foco, a school dedicated to visual education and experimentation. Her practice explores the body as a territory of memory, trace, and identity through photography, video art, and performance. She has participated in exhibitions and artistic events in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Spain. Her work investigates the body, physical transformation, and territory from an autobiographical and sensory perspective. In 2025, she received a scholarship for the PHotoESPAÑA master’s program 2025–2026.
