David Santamaría es un artista visual y diseñador multidisciplinar afincado en Madrid desde hace más de 25 años. Su práctica combina comunicación visual y experimentación plástica, expandiendo actualmente su investigación sobre la imagen contemporánea en el Máster PHotoESPAÑA 2025. Trabaja con tecnologías como escaneado LiDAR, fotogrametría y realidad aumentada, integrándolas con fotografía tradicional para abordar cuestiones de identidad y memoria. Ha desarrollado intervenciones site specific y colaboraciones con entidades culturales de Madrid. Es cofundador y diseñador de Revista Sin Norte, Disfrute Los Inconvenientes y la plataforma El Mambográfico.

Actualmente, cursa el Master PHotoESPAÑA.

David Santamaría is a visual artist and multidisciplinary designer based in Madrid for more than 25 years. His practice combines visual communication and plastic experimentation, currently expanding his research on contemporary image-making through the PHotoESPAÑA master’s program 2025. He works with technologies such as LiDAR scanning, photogrammetry, and augmented reality, integrating them with traditional photography to address questions of identity and memory. He has developed site-specific interventions and collaborations with cultural institutions in Madrid. He is co-founder and designer of Revista Sin Norte, Disfrute Los Inconvenientes, and the platform El Mambográfico.
