Iñaki Bonillas desarrolla una práctica conceptual en torno a la fotografía entendida como archivo, lenguaje y sistema de representación. Su obra investiga la materialidad de la imagen y sus estructuras semióticas a partir de procedimientos de apropiación, edición y relectura del archivo familiar. En este desplazamiento entre lo visible y lo secundario, la fotografía se vuelve un campo de reflexión sobre la memoria, la autoría y la construcción de significado.

Iñaki Bonillas develops a conceptual practice around photography understood as archive, language, and system of representation. His work investigates the materiality of the image and its semiotic structures through processes of appropriation, editing, and rereading of a family archive. In this shift between the visible and the secondary, photography becomes a field of reflection on memory, authorship, and the construction of meaning.
