Juan Glassford es un fotógrafo documental y de bellas artes radicado entre Nueva York y Ciudad de México. Su trabajo aborda temas como migración, conflicto, aislamiento político y crisis ambiental a través de proyectos de largo aliento centrados en derechos humanos y cuestiones sociales. En 2019 recibió la Director’s Fellowship for Documentary Storytelling del ICP y en 2022 se graduó en Fotografía y Derechos Humanos por Bard College. Ha colaborado con ONG y ACNUR en el Cuerno de África, Bangladesh y Turquía, explorando narrativas sobre desplazamiento y resiliencia.
Actualmente, cursa el Master PHotoESPAÑA.
Juan Glassford is a documentary and fine art photographer based between New York and Mexico City. His work explores themes such as migration, conflict, political isolation, and environmental crisis through long-term projects focused on human rights and social issues. In 2019, he received the Director’s Fellowship for Documentary Storytelling from ICP, and in 2022 graduated from Bard College in Photography and Human Rights. He has collaborated with NGOs and UNHCR in the Horn of Africa, Bangladesh, and Turkey, developing narratives on displacement and resilience through documentary and artistic approaches.
