Man Ray (Filadelfia, 1890–París, 1976), nacido Emmanuel Radnitzky, fue una figura central del dadaísmo y el surrealismo, activo principalmente en París. Aunque se consideraba pintor, destacó como fotógrafo de vanguardia, introduciendo innovaciones como las “rayografías”, imágenes sin cámara basadas en la luz y el objeto.
