Rui Ochoa (Oporto, 1948) ha desarrollado una trayectoria clave en el fotoperiodismo portugués contemporáneo. Director de fotografía del diario Expresso durante casi dos décadas, su trabajo se articula en torno a grandes acontecimientos históricos del siglo XX, desde la Revolución de los Claveles hasta la caída del Muro de Berlín. Su mirada combina rigor documental y sensibilidad narrativa, consolidando una obra ampliamente publicada y exhibida internacionalmente.
Rui Ochoa (Porto, 1948) has built a defining career in contemporary Portuguese photojournalism. As photography director of Expresso for nearly two decades, his work engages with major historical events of the 20th century, from the Carnation Revolution to the fall of the Berlin Wall. His approach combines documentary rigor with narrative sensitivity, resulting in a widely published and internationally exhibited body of work rooted in historical testimony.
