Saïdou Dicko (Burkina Faso, 1979) es un artista visual autodidacta que trabaja entre París y su país natal. Su práctica, entre fotografía, pintura, vídeo e instalación, explora la sombra como forma poética y universal. A partir de experiencias pastoriles y referencias culturales peul, transforma figuras en siluetas que evocan memoria, identidad y humanidad. Su obra, atravesada por migración y misterio, ha sido expuesta internacionalmente en bienales y ferias.
Saïdou Dicko (Burkina Faso, 1979) is a self-taught visual artist working between Paris and his home country. His practice spans photography, painting, video and installation, exploring shadow as a poetic and universal form. Drawing on pastoral experiences and Peul cultural references, he transforms figures into silhouettes evoking memory, identity and humanity. Shaped by migration and mystery, his work has been exhibited internationally in biennials, museums and art fairs.
