Serge Barbeau, graduado en Communication Arts por la Universidad de Loyola de Montreal, inicia su carrera en fotografía de moda entre Montreal y Nueva York en 1973. Activo en Europa desde 1976, desarrolla su práctica entre Milán y París hasta 2006, publicando en revistas internacionales. Su obra ha sido expuesta en museos de México, Alemania y España. En 2024 presenta una retrospectiva en Mérida, alternando su vida entre la selva maya y la ciudad.
Serge Barbeau, graduate in Communication Arts from Loyola University Montreal, began his fashion photography career between Montreal and New York in 1973. Based in Europe from 1976, he worked between Milan and Paris until 2006, publishing in major international magazines. His work has been exhibited in museums across Mexico, Germany and Spain. In 2024 he presented a retrospective in Mérida, while dividing his life between the Mayan jungle and the city.
