Sergio Belinchón cultiva la fotografía desde 1997. Formado en Bellas Artes en Valencia y en la Escuela de España en París, incorpora el vídeo desde 2003. Su obra reflexiona sobre ciudad, territorio y turismo, y sobre espacios de ausencia donde realidad y artificio se confunden. Series como Ciudades efímeras, Suburbia, Atacama, Paraíso y Western articulan una mirada crítica del paisaje contemporáneo de carácter internacional y museístico en su práctica actual.
Sergio Belinchón has worked in photography since 1997. Trained in Fine Arts in Valencia and at the Spanish School in Paris, he has also incorporated video since 2003. His work reflects on the city, territorial transformation and tourism, and on spaces of absence where reality and artifice blur. Series such as Ciudades efímeras, Suburbia, Atacama, Paraíso and Western articulate a critical view of contemporary landscape, internationally exhibited present in collections.
