Simone Strijk trabaja la fotografía como un campo material y perceptivo. Su práctica explora desplazamientos sutiles en objetos cotidianos, generando tensiones donde la función queda suspendida y el significado permanece inestable. A través de procesos analógicos, sus imágenes enfatizan la presencia material y una mirada prolongada. Estudió en la FotoAcademie de Ámsterdam y actualmente cursa el Máster PHotoESPAÑA (2025–2026). Ha trabajado en fotografía de retrato, producto y editorial para medios internacionales, y ha sido finalista y premiada en certámenes como el Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize, KLPA y Critical Mass.

Actualmente, cursa el Master PHotoESPAÑA.

Simone Strijk approaches photography as a material and perceptual field. Her practice explores subtle shifts in everyday objects, creating tensions in which function is suspended and meaning remains unstable. Through analog processes, her images emphasize material presence and sustained observation. She studied Photography at the FotoAcademie in Amsterdam and is currently pursuing the PHotoESPAÑA master’s program (2025–2026). Alongside her artistic practice, she has worked in portrait, product, and editorial photography for international media, and has been shortlisted and awarded in competitions such as the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize, KLPA, and Critical Mass.
