Esta exposición pone el foco en la historia silenciada y el tabú existente en torno a la memoria esclavista española. A partir de una profunda investigación, la autora propone una travesía visual siguiendo las huellas de los esclavistas desde Cádiz o Barcelona a Ghana y Sierra Leona, con destino final en Cuba, completando una de las principales rutas del tráfico de personas y del comercio triangular que funcionó hasta finales del siglo XIX.

This exhibition focuses on the silenced and taboo history around Spain’s slave memory. Based on in-depth research, the author proposes a visual journey following the traces of the slave owners from Cádiz or Barcelona to Ghana and Sierra Leone, with their final destination in Cuba, completing one of the triangular human trafficking and trade routes that operated until the late nineteenth century.
