La Galería Elvira González inaugura la quinta exposición individual en la galería del fotógrafo Chema Madoz (Madrid, 1958). La exposición reúne obra reciente realizada entre 2024 y 2025.
A través de la fotografía, Madoz continúa su investigación en torno al objeto y sus múltiples lecturas. Las asociaciones de objetos e imágenes transforman lo cotidiano en algo abierto y en constante reinterpretación.
“Para mí es importante guiarme por mi propia percepción y no limitarme a pasar a imagen la palabra. Lo que me interesa es la idea de hallazgo, de descubrimiento, de percibir el misterio en lo cotidiano.”
Elvira González Gallery inaugurates the fifth solo exhibition at the gallery by photographer Chema Madoz (Madrid, 1958). The exhibition brings together recent works produced between 2024 and 2025.
Through photography, Madoz continues his investigation into the object and its multiple readings. The associations of objects and images transform the everyday into something open and in constant reinterpretation.
“For me, it is important to be guided by my own perception and not limit myself to translating words into images. What interests me is the idea of finding, of discovery, of perceiving mystery in the everyday.”
