Tras el impulso generado por la Iberoamericana de Toro, la ciudad reafirma su vocación cultural con la puesta en marcha de Hispanolusa de Toro, un nuevo encuentro dedicado al arte contemporáneo ibérico. Esta cita nace con el propósito de fortalecer los lazos creativos entre España y Portugal a través de un programa expositivo que abarca fotografía, artes visuales, intervenciones y performance.
En esta primera edición, PHotoESPAÑA se suma a la iniciativa aportando su mirada especializada en el ámbito fotográfico, con propuestas que enriquecen el relato visual del encuentro. El evento se articula como una invitación a recorrer espacios históricos y artísticos de Toro desde la mirada del arte actual, generando un diálogo entre tradición y vanguardia.
Hispanolusa de Toro parte del modelo que convirtió a la Iberoamericana en una referencia del mapa cultural español, y lo proyecta hacia nuevas colaboraciones internacionales. Las calles, iglesias, plazas y edificios patrimoniales de la ciudad se transforman en escenario de una experiencia artística que trasciende formatos, disciplinas y fronteras.

Following the momentum generated by the Iberoamericana de Toro, the city reaffirms its cultural vocation with the launch of Hispanolusa de Toro, a new gathering dedicated to Iberian contemporary art. This event is born with the aim of strengthening the creative ties between Spain and Portugal through an exhibition program that includes photography, visual arts, interventions, and performance.
In this first edition, PHotoESPAÑA joins the initiative, bringing its specialized perspective in the photographic field, with proposals that enrich the event’s visual narrative. The event is structured as an invitation to explore historic and artistic spaces in Toro through the lens of contemporary art, generating a dialogue between tradition and avant-garde.
Hispanolusa de Toro follows the model that made the Iberoamericana a reference on the Spanish cultural map, projecting it toward new international collaborations. The streets, churches, squares, and heritage buildings of the city become the stage for an artistic experience that transcends formats, disciplines, and borders.
