Esta exposición presenta dos miradas singulares al México de mediados de siglo XX. Por un lado, se muestra un acercamiento a la arquitectura paraboloide de Felix Candela a través de la lente del fotógrafo y químico español emigrado a México, Armando Salas Portugal. Por otro, se invita al público a descubrir la naturaleza mexicana desde el enfoque de quien fue subdirector del Museo Del Prado durante la República, Roberto Fernández Balbuena, en sus paseos durante el exilio con el escritor, guionista y también fotógrafo Juan Rulfo.
This exhibition presents two unique views of mid-twentieth century Mexico. First, it shows an examination of the paraboloid architecture of Felix Candela through the lens of Armando Salas Portugal, a Spanish photographer and chemist who emigrated to Mexico. Secondly, the public is invited to discover Mexico’s nature from the vantage point of the former deputy director of the Museo del Prado during the Republic, Roberto Fernández Balbuena, in his walks in exile with the writer, scriptwriter and fellow photographer Juan Rulfo.
