Esta serie fotográfica sigue a tres bailarinas durante una fase única de la vida: el paso físico, siempre dramático, por la adolescencia. Fotografiadas anualmente a lo largo de cinco años, las bailarinas repiten las mismas posturas una y otra vez.

A medida que crecen y cambian, las chicas a veces deben adaptar la pose a las nuevas limitaciones del espacio circundante; otras veces, la nueva imagen apenas muestra diferencias.

_2B space to be, espacio expositivo del estudio de arquitectura y diseño Moneo Brock, tiene el placer de invitarte al evento “Meet the artist: Hana Vojáčková«.

Durante esta velada contaremos con la presencia de la artista y fotógrafa Hana Vojáčková, autora de la muestra Time Anatomy, en conversación con María Millán, comisaria y experta en fotografía. Juntas profundizarán en el proyecto, explorando sus claves conceptuales y el proceso creativo detrás de las imágenes.

Time Anatomy es un proyecto inédito que aborda el dramático paso físico por la adolescencia de tres bailarinas a lo largo de cinco años. La fotografía pone de relieve la rápida transformación del cuerpo y su lenguaje, y como la relación con el espacio circundante evoluciona y cambia a una velocidad vertiginosa.

This photographic series follows three ballerinas during a unique phase of life: the always-dramatic physical passage through adolescence. Photographed annually over a period of 5 years, the ballerinas repeat the same postures again and again.

As they grow and change, sometimes the girls have to adapt the pose to the new limitations of the surrounding space, while at other times the new image is hardly different at all.

Event: “Meet the Artist: Hana Vojáčková”

2B space to be, the exhibition space of the architecture and design studio Moneo Brock, is pleased to invite you to the event “Meet the Artist: Hana Vojáčková”.

During the evening, we will be joined by artist and photographer Hana Vojáčková, author of the exhibition Time Anatomy, in conversation with María Millán, curator and photography expert. Together, they will delve into the project, exploring its conceptual foundations and the creative process behind the images.

Time Anatomy is a previously unseen project that documents the dramatic physical journey through adolescence of three dancers over the course of five years. The photographs highlight the rapid transformation of the body and its language, and how the relationship with surrounding space evolves and changes at a dizzying pace.
