For the second year in a row, PHotoESPAÑA is joining the transport company Palibex in the Truck Art Project, a cultural initiative that aims to share avant-garde art in an accessible, innovative way. This art project on wheels, which was launched in 2016, allows a fleet of trucks to become the backdrop or canvas of different artists on the contemporary scene. Turned into travelling galleries, the industrial vehicles keep driving their usual routes all over Spain, transforming us into involuntary, fleeting spectators of mobile art.

Until now, Truck Art Project showcased a living sample of the latest trends in painting, drawing and urban art in Spain, far from the white cube aesthetic of the museum and targeted at recipients who are not habitués of contemporary art, in contexts that are not even favourable for it. During the last edition of PHotoESPAÑA, the project took a new turn to focus on photography, and this year four trucks will once again become a platform for the works of four visual artists.
