FLORE es una fotógrafa franco-española nacida en 1963 que vive y trabaja entre París y la región de Hauts-de-France. Su obra, desarrollada a largo plazo y a menudo durante sus viajes, ha sido reconocida con el Premio Nadar en 2020 y el Premio de Fotografía Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière de la Académie des Beaux-Arts en 2018. Su trabajo ha sido adquirido y expuesto en instituciones como el Museo Petit Palais, la Biblioteca Nacional de Francia, el MMP+ de Marrakech y el Memorial de Rivesaltes, además de presentarse en ferias internacionales. Varias monografías han sido publicadas por editoriales como Contrejour, André Frère, Maison CF y Postcart Italy. Entre ellas destaca el libro L’odeur de la nuit était celle du jasmin, galardonado con el Premio Nadar. Su universo poético y atemporal se entiende como un gesto político, una forma de posicionarse frente a su tiempo. Además de su práctica artística, FLORE desarrolla una importante actividad docente mediante clases magistrales internacionales.
FLORE is a Franco-Spanish photographer born in 1963 who lives and works between Paris and the Hauts-de-France region. Her practice, developed over long periods and often during her travels, has been recognized with the Nadar Prize in 2020 and the Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière Photography Prize from the Académie des Beaux-Arts in 2018. Her work has been acquired and exhibited by major institutions such as the Petit Palais Museum, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the MMP+ in Marrakech, and the Rivesaltes Memorial, as well as presented at international art fairs. Several monographs have been published by Contrejour, André Frère, Maison CF and Postcart Italy. Among them is L’odeur de la nuit était celle du jasmin, awarded the Nadar Prize. Her poetic and timeless universe is conceived as a political gesture, a way of positioning herself in relation to her time. Alongside her artistic practice, FLORE is also an established educator, regularly giving international masterclasses.
