Laia Abril (1986) es una artista de investigación que trabaja con fotografía, texto, vídeo y sonido, centrada en la biopolítica y las cuestiones de género. Su práctica, de carácter político y procesual, emplea estrategias de estética forense y contranarrativas para cuestionar las historias dominantes y los sistemas de representación. Ha expuesto en más de 25 países y su obra forma parte de colecciones como Centre Pompidou, MACBA, Museo Reina Sofía o el V&A. Es autora de libros como The Epilogue y la serie A History of Misogyny. Ha recibido premios internacionales como el Foam Paul Huf Award y el Premio Nacional de Fotografía.
Laia Abril (1986) is a research-based artist working with photography, text, video, and sound, focusing on biopolitics and gender issues.
