Lurdes es fotógrafa y artista visual licenciada en Comunicación Audiovisual. Comenzó su carrera obteniendo reconocimientos internacionales como el premio Inge Morath otorgado por la Agencia Magnum. Después de cuestionar su propia mirada, evoluciona hacia una práctica fotográfica basada en la ética del consentimiento y la perspectiva de género y decolonial. Las narrativas de sus trabajos transitan entre el documentalismo y la resignificación del archivo, que entiende como categorías no estancas. Es artista residente en Roca Umbert Fàbrica de les Arts.
Lurdes is a photographer and visual artist with a degree in Audiovisual Communication. She began her career receiving international recognition, including the Inge Morath Award granted by the Magnum Agency. After questioning her own gaze, she evolved toward a photographic practice grounded in the ethics of consent, as well as gender and decolonial perspectives. The narratives in her work move between documentary and the re-signification of the archive, which she understands as fluid, non-fixed categories. She is currently an artist in residence at Roca Umbert Fàbrica de les Arts.
